If you have read some of our previous blog posts you should know by now (if you didn’t know already) that holding and scheduling meetings does not always happen in a productive and time efficient matter. The people over at Visual.ly made a great infographic, “The ugly truth about meetings”, where they state the causes of unproductive meetings and give you some pointers on what you can do about it.

They also found that having video collaboration meetings (read web conferences through Skype and the likes), increase productivity, collaboration and enhance decision making when compared to regular over the phone meetings.

Setting up these web conferences can however be a daunting task. To improve productivity in scheduling these meetings we would advice you to use a meeting scheduling software such as Plann3r, that is specifically useful for scheduling virtual group meetings and it takes into account the location and different time zones of all remote participants.
