This is an element you add to your email that really surprises your reader, makes you stand out from the crowd and makes your reader want to read the rest of your email. I love to add GIF’s or countdown timers right before the big ask!

Іmаgіnе thаt уоu аrе tаlkіng tо а frіеnd оr а mеmbеr оf уоur fаmіlу аnd thаt уоu аrе trуіng tо соmmunісаtе sоmеthіng thаt would rеаllу hеlр thеm. Rеmеmbеr уоu dоn’t tаlk “аt” sоmеоnе; уоu tаlk “with” thеm.

A tip to make the email more personal is to use placeholders. With a tool such as dux-soup, you can automatically visit prospects’ Linkedin profile and extract information such as firstname, lastname, company, job title, location and industry. Now you can use this information to personalise the cold email: Hi <Firstname>, I noticed when people talk about <industry> in <location>, your name gets mentioned a lot! I helped a lot of these people and I think as a <job title> in <company>, you can benefit from my services too!

Buzz words are buzz words, they generally don’t have much meaning. But they do work!
